In the five image typological series „Textures of the city: Leipzig“ my main aim was to create a representation of the structure, geometry and the contrast of the architecture in the city of Leipzig. The idea for the image series was inspired by a quote from the architectural historian Turit Fröbe: „Far too often we walk quickly through the streets without paying attention to the buildings that surround us. But it’s worth looking.“
In 2022 this image serie won the following awards:
– Architecture Masterprise – Winner in Exterior Details – Student Category
– Fine Art Photo Awards – Nominee in Architecture Photography – Professional Category
